Jefferson-more power for the states, against strong central authority,
Hamilton- favored big government, thought we needed it so our country could grow and become industrialized
How is all this relevant today? Any events that have happened since the 1800′s to now?

Generally, the Democratic party has been for big government and a strong central government while the Republicans have been for state’s rights.
This was and probably always be a bone of contention between these two factions, aside from the party differences.

What is n supposed to be? There is no simple formula in terms of anything at all for general graphs, and some fairly complex formulae for specific types of graphs?
